Episode 024: Stupid Belief With My Client Dr. Adaobi

Welcome to another episode of The Doctor Coach School™ Podcast.

I know I say this every single week, but today's episode brings me so much joy.

I am so excited for you to meet one of the amazing students inside of The Doctor Coach School™.

Adaobi Ikpeze, MD, BSN RN, is a second-year pediatric resident, a former practising registered nurse, author, content creator and CEO of the RN to MD Academy, the first coaching program that helps nurses break through self-doubt, assists with applying with medical school and gets nurses accepted so they create the career they desire.

She has done extensive work in promoting health inequity, racial justice and increasing the number of historically excluded students in health professions.

Born in Owerri, Nigeria, she immigrated with her immediate family to the USA in middle childhood. She credits her success thus far to God, self belief and community.

Doors are currently open to the RN to MD Academy, a 1:1 online coaching that helps nurses:

  • Break through patterns of self doubt and how to build your confidence and self belief
  • Package a competitive and effective medical school application (that lands you interviews) step by step from someone who has been in your shoes.
  • Learn how to skillfully address academic shortcomings to your advantage.
  • Get into medical school without perfect grades, scores or research
  • Learn from a coach who understands how to help you get out of your own way so that show up to your interview confidently and authentically

This was such an incredible episode.  Better get your pen and paper because Dr. Adaobi dropped so many gems.

I am so in awe of what she has been able to achieve as a second-year resident. She is the evidence of what we can achieve with belief.

Let's get into it.
